EVERY FLAW HAS A PURPOSE.
Do you believe that it is okay to fail, commit mistakes, and be emotional sometimes? Why? Because life is not perfect and we aren't perfect.
Take a moment and just close your eyes for 5 minutes. Visualize yourself having a perfect day. Look into your soul and ask these questions, "What is a perfect day for you? What is a perfect version of you? What is beauty for you? What are your flaws? What are your strengths and weaknesses?." Did you find answers?
Did you see yourself having the perfect body and skin? Did you see yourself going through the rest of your life not having any problems? Did you see yourself having the perfect life with absolutely nothing to be worried about?
You can have all the perfect things you want but in reality, a perfect life could be boring. Think about it this way. You'll find no meaning in life because you have everything you want already: a perfect job, a perfect body and a perfect marriage. What else could you ask for? You'll go through life chasing nothing because you are already content with what you have.
So, I'd say it's okay to cry, fail, and commit mistakes because we are human beings and we aren't perfect. It is definitely okay if you are not good at drawing and dancing. It is all right if you are nowhere near having the perfect dream house. Take a deep breath. You don't have to continue chasing the perfect life. Don't pressure yourself into thinking that life has no meaning without the perfect partner and perfect job. Understand that you are enough and capable of doing so many great things in life.
Embrace your quirks and imperfections. Life is too short to please anybody.
ARE YOU READY TO MAKE BIG POSITIVE CHANGES TO YOUR LIFE?
It all starts with you. Be the change you want the world to see. Be that somebody who loved herself for who she is despite all odds and mistakes she has made in the past. Here's what you can do:
Learn through imperfections - If you are not good at dancing, writing and singing, now is your chance to redeem yourself and say yes to learn new moves and notes. Not so good at writing? Search how to become better at writing. You'll never know maybe someday you'll publish your own book. If there's a will there's a way. No more excuses!!!
Let your flaws empower you - If you have been injured, bullied, and rejected, share your own stories with the world. There will always be someone who is willing to listen to your stories and they can share their stories too, empowering one another.
Celebrate who you are - Be proud of yourself. Focus on your accomplishments and don't be afraid of failure. You grow as a person when you experience difficulties which make you stronger and wiser.
Follow your passion - Don't give up on your dreams just because you have a hundred flaws. That doesn't mean you can't achieve anything. COME ON. I haven't met you, but I have this intuition that you're going to do amazing things if you keep pursuing the fire in you. The point is no one says that life gets easier as time comes, you only just get stronger and wiser.
"Don’t let the negativity hold you back. Embrace who you are" -Lizzie Velasquez
If you have been named as the World’s Ugliest Woman in the internet you would have thought to just give up your life, but not Lizzie Velasquez. She won't allow the people who called her a monster and told her to set herself with fire define her. She chose to let her goals and success define her, and not her outer appearance. Lizzie learned how to embrace her flaws and use it to inspire people who have experienced bullying. If she believes in her own journey and that she has a purpose, you can do it too.
Embracing your flaws is a big step toward becoming the best version of you. I challenge you to look in the mirror bright and early when you’re just waking up and tell yourself all the good things about you, whether you're talented, innovative, creative or a great speaker. Only think about all of your accomplishments and the hardships you have surpassed along your journey. Embrace your uniqueness and flaws. Remember, your flaws are there for a reason. It is up to you on how you will use it.
Now say it with me “I LOVE MY FLAWS!”.
